The Board of Commissioners is excited to share the latest update on the new fire station construction for the Fort Bend Emergency Service District No. 7 (FBESD7).
Additional work has been completed, bringing the District closer to the modern and efficient station to serve the residents of FBCESD 7.
The installation of the bay doors has been completed. These doors are bi-folding, which will allow for easier access for the firefighting apparatus and vehicles, ultimately enabling quicker response times during emergencies.
The power has been connected to the building. This sets the stage for the functional operations of the fire station and the integration of essential electrical systems.
Painting work is currently in progress, bringing a fresh and welcoming look to the station while contributing to the overall aesthetics and functionality of the building.
The ongoing tile installation is adding the finishing touches to the interiors, contributing to the durability and ease of maintenance of the facility.
Preparation is underway for the installation of cabinets, which will play a significant role in organizing essential equipment and resources. This will ensure a streamlined workflow for the firefighters.
The Board of Commissioners wants to extend their gratitude to the community for your continuous support during the construction of the new fire station. Your patience and engagement are greatly appreciated as we work to create a fire station that meets the needs of our district. We look forward to sharing more updates with you as we progress further.
